Questions families actually ask

The help centre is support@snowvue.com. The same help also opens inside the app, from the menu.

Does Snowvue cost money?

Families can start without a fee: prices, a meal score, and a family circle. Sponsors pay for the inputs they choose to send. If a paid feature is ever switched on, we will say the price before you are charged. We will not hide a fee in a chat.

Which phones work?

A modest Android phone is enough, including phones that are a few years old. If the store apps are not installed, open Snowvue in the browser. Elder-friendly mode makes the type larger. Pages you have already opened should still be there when the network drops.

Which languages?

This website is in English. The app is being prepared in Luganda, Swahili, Runyankore, Acholi, Lugbara, Ateso, and Lusoga. English is a door. It is not the only language of a family circle.

What do you do with my data?

We use it for the service you asked for: a price, a plate, a family circle, a delivery, or a reply to your message. We keep it while that purpose lasts. You can ask what we hold, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete it where the law allows.

Do you sell data?

No. We do not sell personal data. We do not pass a household list to advertisers, buyers, or a partner pantry. A referral happens only when you agree to that referral.

Can children use Snowvue?

No. Accounts are for adults, 18 and over. A family story may mention a child. That story stays inside the Ekika. We do not profile children, score them, or advertise to them.

How does a relative abroad help the shamba?

They join the family circle by invitation or by an elder’s acceptance. They can pay for seed, tools, or other inputs. The goods are delivered. Cash is not sent into a chat. The full path is on the Diaspora page.

Are the market prices official?

No. They are reported by people at the market and checked as far as we can check them. They are not a government price list. If a price looks wrong, say so in the app.

What is Find my kin?

It is a separate, opt-in way for elders who share a clan and an ancestor to find one another. It is off until an elder turns it on. It is not a public search, and it is not for children.

How do I get help, or ask you to delete my information?

Write to the help centre at support@snowvue.com, or use the contact page. For a copy, a correction, or deletion, write to privacy@snowvue.com. You can also complain to the Personal Data Protection Office.

Sponsorship is set out on the Diaspora page. The rules for data are on the privacy notice.
