Our story
One Uganda · Every generation.
The harvest is a family gift. It starts in the garden, with family and friends. It is brought home, prepared with care, and carried to the market for a fair price.
Where it starts
A family can grow food and cook it, and still not know a fair price before they reach the market. An elder can hold a clan's story, and that story can leave when the elder does. Snowvue is meant to keep the market, the plate, and the family circle in one place.
Jjajja stays at the head of the table. The scale should show the same number to both people. The language of the house was there before the phone arrived.

Uniting Ugandans through culture, nutrition and agriculture.
What we keep
1. Family first
Grandparents, parents, and grown children can farm, cook, and learn in the same place. Jjajja, a grandmother or grandfather, keeps what the family knows. The app should not talk over them.
2. An honest scale
You and the buyer should see the same weight and the same price. The number comes from people in the district, not from an office in town.
3. A plate that feeds the house
A staple, beans or sauce, greens, and fruit when the market has them. The score is simple. The price is this week's price.
4. The language you already speak
Stories, recipes, clans, and the family tree can stay in the language of the table. English is here so more people can come in. It is not the only language of the house.
5. Your information stays yours
We follow Uganda's Data Protection and Privacy Act. We do not sell personal information. We do not build profiles of children. If you have not agreed, we should not have it.
6. The phone in your hand
Many families use a small Android phone and a slow network. The type can be made larger. A page you have already opened should still open when the signal drops.
7. Food should get to a kitchen
If a partner pantry is short of food, and you agree, surplus can be offered to a household nearby. Your name is not passed on as a sales list.
